Review of the big Fun 17 on Image HiFi

High End Audio Video Show, Athens 2009

Sometimes business trips are not only business trips. Athens was one of those.
In Room 336, Stelios presented the winning Fun 17 paired to a DPS from Willy Bauer, ZYX cartridge and pre phono stage, Mactone power amplifier. Gorgeous sound, nice people and enjoyable food: this was Greece for us.

Salon Haute Fidélité, Paris 2009

We played the big Fun 20, the Fun 17 and the Mini on the floors of the Marriott rive gauche. It has been a nice experience and a great sound.

Terni High End 2009

Our Satellite Mini played on Max's Amplifier (Grandinote) in a fantastic way: the participants stated in lots of forums that it was the best playing room of the show. Thanks to Dimitri and Max.

Event in Berlin Falkensee

At Hi Fi Studio Falkensee, we had a lot of fun with a good bunch of top notch components. Air Tight und Blumenhofer.

Top Audio, Milano 2009

This year the Top Audio has been a real success, we had a lot of time to look around :-)
Vexo: Giampaolo and Carlo used our Genuin FS 3 and presented their new preamplifier and a 2A3 Amplifier
Mastersound: Lorenzo used our big Fun 20 with his 845 Evolution
Sutra: Boris and Stefano played on a Fun 17 with their Digital power amplifier
Grandinote: Max showed his Prestigio on a big Fun 20 and on a Satellite Mini
I think this demonstrates that our speakers are really versatile :-)

Munich High End 2009

Our first international exposition together with Peter Schmitz and Leben. The people appreciated our booth and even more our sound... we learnt a lot: next time we will make better, I promise you ;-)

“Brutale” or “Monster” was the project name due to costs and development that were necessary to realize it.

We made it for you, to give you the opportunity to enjoy what is possible in terms of sound reprocuction

Review of the big Fun 20 by Srajan Eban of 6moons

After an unexpected meeting in China, we fixed an appointment with Srajan Eban of 6moons.
As usual in the last minutes, but right on time we reached Chardonne in Switzerland. Nice situated on the Geneva Lake.

He decided to test the big Fun 20 because:
- the Genuin FS 3 had been already tested in some papers
- the Fun 17 was not jet burned in

The report has not been positive, and this is luck for the company: we were not yet ready for the international market and its demands, this would have taken us to bigger problems!!!
Furthermore the points Srajan focused on have been really good suggestions to improve our products and grow a lot in quality!

I must say something: if you are disappointed reading it, remember, we did our homework and improved and corrected the flaws Srajan appointed. Come and listen yourself!!
- we improved the crossover changing one component that eliminated the echo Srajan was talking about (yes there was an echo and yes this was entirely our mistake)
- we improved the internal wiring
- we had to slightly change the compression chamber of the mid high driver due to a sub-supplier shortage: this lead to an unexpected improvement
- we changed the supplier of certain Caps

After these changes Stereo, a leading german magazine has chosen the big Fun 20 to become reference speaker. All the customers received the improved version of the big Fun 20.
